planning travelling from perth to brisbane?
I am Adam just turned 55 and my spouse(Norliah 50) planning a holiday trip to australia.We love to drive from perth to brisbane.We are counting on details of rental of caravan and accomodation along the way or travel by coach/train. Making stopover in places of interest.Planning 3 to 4 weeks vacation. We plan to travel sometime in may/june 07.
I have driven Brisbane -Perth return and its a bloody long way and boring. I would suggest you fly Perth – Adelaide, then drive through the Barossa Valley (big wine region) then onto Melbourne then up the east coast to Sydney then onto Brisbane. When in Queensland, check out Fraser Island, the Great Barrier Reef and Cairns!
