Surprise 40th bday party for hubby on a BUDGET, any suggestions?
Looking for a fun laid back place to throw a small party about 50ish guests on January 9, 2010. We are pretty simple people so doesn’t have to be fancy. Considering dancing, food, drinks, karaoke really I”m open to any suggestions. I can bring food in or I could purchase at venue/bar if necessary. Only looking to spend about $300 (+-)….please help with suggestions if you have any!
I have looked into renting a hall but everyone wants an arm and leg so I guess I’m now looking at a bar or grill or something along that line! HELP…the day is drawing near and I don’t have a clue!

Contact any friends you have that live in an apartment or condo. Many apartments/condos have clubhouses that are available free to residents, they just need to reserve in advance.
