28 day Kimberley Experience in Western Australia
This is the Western Australia adventure tour that covers it all. We travel through outback Australia and experience kilometres of remote and beautiful country, Kimberley station hospitality, swimming in crystal clear rivers and secluded water holes, magnificent waterfalls, incredible gorges and spectacular mountain ranges.
See why they call the 'Boab Tree' the upside down tree, as we travel through this wonderful part of Australia to the beehive formation of the Bungle Bungle Ranges.
Along the way you will see Australian hidden treasures. We visit the fabulous Bell and Galvan's Gorges, Mitchell Plateau, and the magnificent Mitchell Falls.

Day One
Departing Perth 7.00am, we travel along the Great Northern Highway through pastoral farming properties, as we head to the former gold mining town of Mount Magnet. Here you will see the first sample of Aboriginal rock art. This is where your Kimberley Experience begins. |

Day Two
Leaving Mount Magnet, we make our way to Kumarina Roadhouse. Along the way you will experience the harsh and vast land of outback Australia. This will also give you a true indication of the size of Australia. Experience fair dinkum outback bush camping as we search for a camp site, set up camp, cook a luscious meal on the open fire and relax under the stars. |

Days Three, Four and Five
This is where we get off the "Tourist Track," leaving the bitumen behind us. We spend the next few days exploring outback Australia as we make our way to Broome. We travel to Nullagine, a small historical gold mining town, then its off to Marble Bar, Australia's hottest town. Here we visit the Jasper Bar, which is a Jasper outcrop, often mistaken for marble. A must see. We then take in more of the outback as we head for the Sandfire Roadhouse, before making our way to Broome. |

Days Six and Seven
Broome. At Boomerang Tours we pride ourselves on having Australian Tours at a relaxed pace, that's why you have two days in this magnificent town, at your leisure. Sunbathe on the beautiful Cable Beach, take a camel ride, search for dinosaur footprints, visit the open air cinema or have a coffee at one of the cafés. See why this beautiful town attracts so many visitors. |

Day Eight
Departing Broome we head into the famous Kimberley. A region of Australia which has plenty of sightseeing and exploring to be done. Take photos of the fabulous waterfalls,
explore the magnificent Gorges and relax in the cool and refreshing pools along the way. Our first stop is to see the amazing prison tree, a Boab tree of enormous proportions, as we make our way to the township of Derby. |

Day Nine
We now leave the bitumen behind us, as we travel into the Australian outback along the Gibb River Road, and through the beautiful scenery of King Leopold Ranges, the Kimberley's highest mountain range. Here we'll find the sensational Bell Gorge. This is where we spend the afternoon swimming and lazing about. |

Day Ten
Today we enjoy the spectacular scenery as we make our way to cool and refresh ourselves in the fabulous Galvan and Manning Gorges. We then head to Drysdale River Station where you can meet the locals and learn about life on an outback station. |

Day Eleven
This morning we go sightseeing and travel to the Mitchell Plateau. Here, hidden in outback Australia, we explore the magnificent Mitchell and Merton Falls, and along the way discover amazing Aboriginal rock art. As you admire the beautiful scenery, take time to soak in the fantastic cascading Mitchell Falls, (as you will want this to be an ever lasting memory.) Experience a mind blowing helicopter flight over the falls and this remote region. |

Day Twelve
We now make our way back down the Plateau, amongst the Livistonia palms that surround us and this rugged region, as we return to Drysdale River Station. You can speak to the friendly owners, and find out what it is like to live on an Australian outback station the size of this one, 1million Acres. |

Day Thirteen
Today we travel to the spectacular Emma Gorge, part of the El Questro Station, another great place to cool down and take more fabulous photos, before reaching our next destination, Kununurra. |

Days Fourteen and Fifteen
Another two days of rest and relaxation, develop films, lay by the pool or stroll through town. It's up to you. During one of the evenings we'll take a boat cruise down the Ord River, with an onboard BBQ for you to enjoy. |

Day Sixteen
This morning, you will experience some of Australia's outback towns, and the spectacular view of the O'Donnell Ranges, as we travel to the beehive formation of the Bungle Bungle Ranges, located in the Purnululu National Park. |

Day Seventeen
Today we spend a full day sightseeing, and go exploring through the unusual rock formations of the Bungle Bungle Ranges. We visit the unique Frog Hole, the breathtaking Echidna Chasm, (with its 150 metre sheer rock face), and the magnificent Cathedral Gorge, which is sure to impress you. |

Day Eighteen
On our way to Fitzroy Crossing, we travel through remote towns and experience how the landscape changes in this incredible part of Australia. We then visit Geikie Gorge, with its spectacular views from high on the cliff tops. |

Day Nineteen
Have your torches ready as we make our way to Tunnel Creek, which cuts through the Napier Range. This amazing tunnel, which is full of history will captivate you, as will Windjana Gorge with its fresh water crocodiles sunning themselves on the sand. |

Day Twenty
After travelling through Australia's Kimberley region, we begin moving south along the spectacular Western Coastline, and enjoy its beautiful beaches and coastal towns. By now you will have a greater understanding of the size of Australia. Set your mind back in time and try to imagine how our early explorers ever managed to cover such a vast land, as we make our way to Sandfire Roadhouse. |

Day Twenty One
This morning we travel to Karijini National Park. With its many waterfalls and gorges, beautiful sightseeing and photo opportunities, it is sure to impress you. |

Day Twenty Two
Today we are out 'n' about early as we explore the fantastic Karijini National Park. We visit Weano and Knox Gorges, then cool and refresh ourselves from the Australian heat in the beautiful Joffre and Fortescue Falls. |

Day Twenty Three
Today we travel through beautiful landscape and outback stations, as we make our way to another Australian treasure, the beautiful Coral Bay, where you can enjoy the vibrant colours of Ningaloo Reef. |

Day Twenty Four
Enjoy, snorkelling on Ningaloo Reef, a view from the glass bottom boat, sunbathing on the beach, or one of the many other optional activities available in this paradise, they call Coral Bay. |

Day Twenty Five
As we leave this paradise, we head for another. Today we're travelling to Monkey Mia, home of the wild dolphins, as we continue our trek along this amazing part of Australia. |

Day Twenty Six
Relax, enjoy the surroundings as we wait for the famous visitors to arrive. These majestic dolphins at play will delight you with their intelligence and grace (the arrival of the dolphins can not be guaranteed as they are wild, but they do usually arrive, 99% of the time). This afternoon we continue down this great coastline to Geraldton. |

Day Twenty Seven
This morning we visit Nambung National Park, home of the fascinating 'Pinnacles'. We walk through these unique limestone spears, (something you won't forget in a hurry), before leaving the freedom of the outback and returning to Perth. This brings to an end your Kimberley Experience, with great memories and fabulous photos, to fill your albums. Day Twenty Eight
This day may or may not be available, depending on whether we have stayed for an extra day at some incredible place, along the way. If the day is available, then we'll use it to explore the city of Perth, or any one of a number of suggestions your guide will put to you.
