BOOMERANG TOURS is
owned and operated by Sam Waters. Sam takes personal pride in
each and every one of his Tours. Sam was
born in the Australian bush, and spent his childhood growing up
on farms in North Eastern Victoria. During this time he developed
a love for the land, where he began camping out at an early age,
(and became a pretty good trout fisherman).
Many years ago, Sam completed two 'round Australia' trips, which took a total of four
years. While travelling near Broome, Sam became friends with an Irish
couple and an English couple, who decided to tour with him down
the West Coast to Perth. These travellers had stayed in caravan parks
and hostels during the twelve months they were travelling. Between Broome and Perth, Sam showed them what a truly unique holiday was all about, by camping out each
evening, teaching them how to pick a camp site, cook on an open
fire, and showing them sights that most travellers
never get to see on a normal tour.
On their
arrival in Perth, both couples commented that it was the best two
weeks of their vacation, and suggested that Sam should start a business taking travellers on sightseeing and outback camping tours ...
and so BOOMERANG TOURS WAS BORN!!
Sam now has over 20 years experience in adventure travel, outback bush camping and four wheel driving.

If you intend to keep
travelling around the rest of Australia after one of our tours,
you'll be able to put all of this into practice, saving you
plenty of money on Hostel and Caravan Park fees. If you have any
questions about travelling through this unique country just
ask your tour guide ... he's been there, done that.
Because this is such a large country, we cover a great
amount of kilometres on our tours and for this reason, we stop
regularly so you can stretch your legs, giving you an opportunity
to add a couple of extra photos to your album. No need to book
two or three tours to do what we do on one. After your experience with Boomerang Tours, you won't want to go
home. Don't make us call your Mum to come and get you!
