This tour can be booked or used as a sample Adventure Tour for both Groups and Private Travellers
This tour can be lengthened or shortened to suit you, and is a combination package to show how versatile your holiday can be, Farm stay, outback camping and hotel Accommodation is available. Although we visit different locations on this adventure tour, you can choose to stay in the one location for the duration of your holiday / vacation.

Day One - Great Ocean Road day trip (Victoria)
Depart from your accommodation at 7.30am and travel South West to the sun, surf, sand and sightseeing the spectacular scenery that is Australia's world famous Great Ocean Road.
Your camera won't stop clicking as you visit Bells Beach- made famous by its world class surf and the movie "Point Break" staring Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves, Kennet River- to spot Koalas in their natural environment, Apollo Bay- just one of many beautiful coastal towns, Otway Rain forest- where we take a leisurely walk and admire its tranquil surroundings, 12 Apostles- limestone rock formations formed over thousands of years. You also go on a scenic helicopter flight along this spectacular coastline, a fantastic experience. Then it's on to Loch Ard Gorge- well known for its scenery and the tragic story about the Loch Ard shipwreck. Take a sightseeing walk along the beach and visit the cave which the only two survivors stayed in before being rescued, plus more before returning to Melbourne.

Day Two - Melbourne to Whitfield (North East Victoria)
(Depart 8am) Today we travel to Glenrowan, made famous by Australia's notorious Bush Ranger, "Ned Kelly", and the siege that led to his capture, which you will witness through a re-enactment. We then make our way to our Farm Stay property where we camp in two man tents next to the crystal clear 'King River', and spend nights under the stars around the campfire. During one of these nights you will meet a Fair Dinkum Aussie, Phil, the property owner and shearer of 40 years, who has applied his trade all over Australia. (2 nights camping)

Day Three - Whitfield
(Depart 7.30.) Today is a day of adrenalin pumping adventure and action. You'll go White Water Rafting where you'll have two runs down the river and a BBQ lunch. When you're not tackling the white water rapids, you can absorb the beautiful scenery and tranquil surroundings as you go on a sightseeing cruise down the fabulous "King River". |

Day Four - Whitfield to Westray Station (Outback New South Wales)
(Depart 8am) Today you'll be amazed by the size of this country as you begin to experience outback Australia. We travel to our next Farm Stay "Westray Station", along the way you will see the 'Radio Telescope', which was the setting for the Australian movie 'The Dish', and was used by NASA for the first moon landing.
Around the campfire the property owner will give you details about the running of this New South Wales outback station and its surrounding area. (Overnight camping)

Day Five - Westray Station to Nardoo Station (Outback Queensland)
(Depart 8am) Today we travel through outback Australia, spectacular landscape and farming properties and make our way to "Nardoo Station". After we set up camp you can relax in the hot Artesian Spa while dinner is being prepared. (2 Nights Camping) |

Day Six - Nardoo Station
(Depart 7.30am) Today we go sightseeing, as the property owner takes us on a guided tour of this region.
Hear about the local history and information on some of the flora, as well as details about life on, and running of a pastoral property in outback Queensland.
Our first stop is the Mud Springs where we have morning tea. Then we move onto Yowah,(a small Opal mining town and home to the famous Yowah nut). On arrival we take a guided tour of the Opal Fields, and then get treated to an Australian Camp Oven lunch, cooked by the characters of this outback town. After lunch we visit Eulo and sample Date wine and Date products from the local Date farm and winery. Then it's onto Bilby Burrow Gallery to view the work of some talented outback people. To end our trip a cool drink can be had at the local Eulo Queen Hotel, arriving back at Nardoo just in time for another Spa before dinner under the stars around the campfire.

Day Seven - Nardoo Station to Barcaldine (Outback Queensland)
(Depart 8am) This morning we experience more of the Australian Outback as we travel to Barcaldine. Here you can enjoy a dip in the local Olympic size swimming pool, or take a stroll through this history filled town. (Overnight Camping)

Day Eight - Barcaldine to Wambiana Station (Outback Queensland)
(Depart 8am) Today we travel to "Wambiana Station, an Australian cattle property of 57,000 Acres. On arrival the friendly owners will greet you with a BBQ dinner and a beer, a great way to get to know each other, before spending the following day together. (Two Nights Camping) |

Day Nine - Wambiana Station
Today you will experience what its like to live on an Australian Outback Station. The property owner will show you around some of this cattle station and explain the day to day running, and what it's like to operate between this and another property they own 160 Kilometres away. There will be farm activities to participate in as well, such as cattle branding. (Today will be a great adventure experience.)

Day Ten - Wambiana Station to Cairns (Far North Queensland)
(Depart 7.30) This morning our travel through Outback Australia comes to an end, as we make our way to the Australian coast, and the tropical north, on our way to Cairns, home of the world famous Great Barrier Reef. While in Cairns we'll put the tents away and stay in air conditioned cabins for the next three nights. |

Day Eleven - Cairns
Today is for you to do as you please at your own leisure. If you wish, the coach can drop you off in the city centre. With so much to see and do, you will soon see why Cairns is one of Australia's most popular holiday destinations.

Day Twelve - Cairns
This morning we make our way to the harbour and climb aboard the "M.V. Seastar 2" for a day out on Australia's famous Great Barrier Reef. The friendly staff will instruct you on scuba diving, where you'll have two dives into this underwater paradise. This is a fantastic adventure experience and should not be missed. |

Day Thirteen - Cairns to Airlie Beach
(Depart 7.30) Today we go sightseeing and travel South along Australia's famous East Coast, through coastal towns and sugarcane farming properties that this region is famous for. As we make our way to Sydney, our first stop will be in Airlie Beach, gateway to the Whitsunday's, spectacular islands which tourists from all over the word come to see.

Airlie Beach is just one of many beautiful coastal towns along the East Coast of Australia, and we have added another leisure day to make your trip relaxing.

Day Fifteen - Airlie Beach
(Depart 8.30) This morning we are picked up by a courtesy bus and taken to board the White Haven Express for a fabulous day of sightseeing, adventure and fun. We will visit some of the beautiful Australian Islands that make up the Whitsunday's, have a BBQ lunch on the picturesque White Haven Island, go snorkelling and admire the view from the glass bottom boat. This will be a day to be remembered.

Day Sixteen - Airlie Beach to Rockhampton
(Depart 8am) Continuing our trek along the East Coast of Australia, today we travel to Rockhampton, where your overnight stay will be in a comfortable Four and a half star hotel. Here you can spend the evening cooling off in the pool as we have a pool side

Day Seventeen - Rockhampton to Hervey Bay
(Depart 8am) This morning we travel to Hervey Bay, the gateway to another famous attraction In Australia, which draws Australians as well as tourists from around the world each year, the amazing "Fraser Island".
You will soon see what it is that makes this Island so popular. (Two Nights)

Day Eighteen - Hervey Bay
Today we go four wheel driving and sightseeing around Fraser Island, the largest sand Island in the world. Along with its beautiful sand beaches and spectacular fresh water lakes you will visit Central Station Rainforest, Maheno Shipwreck and coloured sands. These are just some of the things that will make this day memorable.

Day Nineteen - Hervey Bay to Byron Bay
(Depart 7.30) This morning we travel to a lovely little coastal town, 'Byron Bay'. You can spend the evening taking a stroll through town, visit a pub or night club, or just relax by the pool. (Over night) |

Day Twenty - Byron Bay to Coffs Harbour
(Depart 8am) Today we travel to another popular seaside town, 'Coffs Harbour', arriving here about lunch time will give you half a day at your leisure. Take a stroll and admire this picturesque town, lay on the beach or swim in the pool. (Over night)

Day Twenty-one - Coffs Harbour to Sydney
(Depart 8am) This will be the last day of your Australian Adventure Tour, bringing an end to this fantastic Australian sightseeing and adventure experience. On arrival into Sydney we will drop you off at your accommodation. Later we can get together for an end of tour party and talk about the last three weeks getting here.

Meals - Breakfast, lunch and dinner, as shown on the vacation itinerary
Accommodation - We have a range of accommodation for this holiday tour, cabins, hotel and two man tents. Accommodation is shared with double, single and bunk beds. For the tents we will use sleeping bags and self inflating mattresses. Although we can provide them on request, we suggest that you bring your own pillow, as there is nothing like having your own comfortable pillow for a good night's sleep, you can also use it on the plane and in the coach. We also suggest that you place a second pillow case over it, so if it gets dirty you can throw it away without damaging your pillow.
Passenger involvement - Passengers should have a medium level of fitness. All tours are designed to provide passengers with a 'hands on' wilderness camping experience. It is therefore a necessary requirement that all passengers participate in general camp duties, such as erecting tents, preparing meals and washing up etc. Camp duties are not strenuous and full group participation allows everyone more time for other more enjoyable activities.
Stoppages -We stop regularly so you can stretch your legs and to give you an opportunity to add a couple more photos to your album.
Vehicle - 48 seat coach with colour television, VCR, toilet and comfortable seating.
What to bring - Swimsuit, Towel, Hat, Sunglasses, insect repellent, toiletries, sun screen, warm clothing, (In case of cool evenings) good walking shoes, sandals or thongs,(flip flops) camera or camcorder with plenty of film and batteries. Also bring a smile, a sense of humour and an adventurous spirit.
